About
Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. began in 1999 when the organization’s founders, Gayla Gardner and her daughter Donya Gardner, decided to bring in the millennium by sharing their blessings with others. Rather than give gifts to their own family, they decided to give to others instead. The founders invited their friends to host a series of Christmas parties, held over the span of twelve consecutive days, and asked guests to bring donations that would be distributed to less fortunate families in the Houston area. The spirit of our founding chapter has also spread nationally, leading to local chapter establishments in New York, Washington D.C., Oakland, Atlanta and Detroit.

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
OUR PASSION is to serve families and children in need thereby strengthening the communities around us. OUR MISSION is to share our blessings with others through collective effort, charitable activities and community involvement.

“To be a woman in the Twelve Days of Christmas organization means my heart and soul constantly dance with enthusiasm for our cause. Most importantly, we are women with AFFECTION for one another, and that is our foundation. We build on that love to help the children and families we serve.” - Nic Cober Johnson, National Chair
